| I was privileged to take part in the evacuation exercise. At 1100 sharp 3001/2 departed for London Tunnel 1 were the first evacuation took place via the tunnel walkway in to 3201/2. Next stop was the Thames Tunnel where evacuation was made back in to 3001/2. Both evacuation exercises having been completed successfully the special then proceeded to Westenhanger. After changing ends a fast run was then made to St Pancras Intl. |
